Terms of Service

Welcome to Maveform. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Maveform website and Service at maveform.com. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Maveform is a tool that helps you turn long-form videos into shorter shareable clips, using AI models that run primarily in your web browser. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Maveform. By signing in, you represent that you meet this requirement. You must also comply with Google's Terms of Service since sign-in is performed via Google OAuth.

3. Your account

You sign in via Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of any video, audio, text, image, or other content you upload to or process through Maveform ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you. We will not use Your Content for advertising, train AI models on it, or share it with third parties without your consent.

Most of Your Content (raw video, transcripts, rendered clips) is processed entirely on your device and never leaves it unless you explicitly choose to use a feature that requires server-side processing or third-party integration.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Maveform to:

  • Process content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • Process content that is unlawful, defamatory, or harassing
  • Process content depicting child sexual abuse, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that promotes violence against individuals or groups
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying source code of Maveform beyond the parts that are publicly released as open source
  • Use Maveform to send spam, scrape Google services, or violate Google's API Services User Data Policy
  • Disrupt or interfere with the Service, its security, or its infrastructure (including DDoS, brute-force, or excessive automated requests)
  • Resell access to the Service without our written permission

6. Intellectual property

Maveform, including its software, design, branding, and trademarks, is owned by us. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding. The open-source components of Maveform are governed by their respective licenses.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep Maveform available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uptime. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as- available" basis. We may take parts of the Service offline for maintenance, upgrades, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

8. Disclaimers

Maveform is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. AI-generated outputs (transcripts, clip suggestions, scene boundaries, captions, face detection) are best-effort and may be inaccurate. Always review outputs before publishing them publicly.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Maveform, its operators, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

For any direct damages, our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your settings page or by emailing bokkapavansai3@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability) will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in India, unless local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
